Golden Child is an investment firm focused primarily on middle market opportunities. The firm targets investments in healthcare, consumer, restaurant and real estate sectors.
These investments mainly focus on the acquisition of mature or developing companies with established cash flow and earnings. The firm also invests in underperforming assets and has extensive experience in the acquisition of loans and other credit opportunities and has led multiple successful turnarounds of those investments.

Jonathan Childs
Jonathan is the founder of Golden Child Holdings. In addition to his responsibilities as Managing Partner, Jonathan served as Co-Chief Restructuring Officer for CraftWorks Holdings, which operated restaurants and breweries under leading names such as Logan's Roadhouse, Old Chicago, Rock Bottom, and Gordon Biersch, during it’s tenure in bankruptcy.
He is also on the board of Krystal Restaurants and SPB Hospitality Group (J Alexanders, Logans Roadhouse, and Old Chicago).
Prior to founding Golden Child, Jonathan was Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of ParkStone Capital (“ParkStone”), an opportunitistic private equity firm (2009-2017). As Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Childs was responsible for setting the strategic vision of the firm. During his tenure, he led the acquisition & divestment of nearly $500M of distressed assets (mortgages, bonds, REO).
Prior to co-founding ParkStone, Jonathan led numerous real estate development projects, several of which have been featured in motion picture and print media. He has founded, co-founded or held senior leadership positions in the pharmaceutical (public, private sectors) and apparel industries.
Jonathan holds a BA degree from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, TN and was a member of the NCAA football and golf teams. He previously served on the alumni board of directors at Carson-Newman.
Jonathan served as a former trustee for the Rippowam Cisqua School, a coeducational independent day school for grades pre-kindergarten through nine, in Bedford, New York.

Myles Gillespie
Myles is a Principal at Golden Child.
His responsibilities include a wide range of analysis including evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio investments and numerous facets of deal executions. Prior to working at Golden Child, Myles worked as an Associate at Atlantic Trust and he also had stints at Brown Brothers Harriman and Marketfield Asset Management.
Myles has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College at Holy Cross. He was a 4 year Letterman on the Division 1 Men’s Lacrosse Team and was a two-time team captain. He and his wife reside in Manhattan, NY.

Ariana Korman
Ariana is the Chief Operating Officer at Golden Child Holdings.
She leads the team in driving operational efficiencies within restaurant investments and collaborates directly with the management teams at portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Golden Child, Ariana served as the Chief Operating Officer of The Juice Press LLC, a 90+ unit restaurant chain based in New York City, Boston, and the surrounding areas, where she generated double-digit revenue growth through business development strategy and product innovation while optimizing operations for maximum efficiency and driving bottom-line growth.
Ariana holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master's degree from New York University.
